High blood pressure is often called the “silent killer” because there are no symptoms. Knowing and managing your blood pressure are two of the best things you can do for your overall heart health.
Join us at this year’s Open Enrollment meetings to get your blood pressure checked and register for Check. Change. Control. Employees are encouraged to sign up regardless of whether they have high blood pressure or not. This effective program focuses on simple changes you can make to improve your health.
Prizes: All participants who check their blood pressure and enter it into the CCC Tracker at least 8 times during the 4 month campaign (2 readings each month) and complete the survey provided at the end of the challenge will receive a Meal Prep Container (Bento Box) and will be entered into a drawing for an Omron Blood Pressure Monitor.
See the attachment below for more information about Check. Change. Control. and how to register on your own. Also see the attached list of work locations with self-monitoring blood pressure stations. If you prefer, the Mobile Health Center staff will conduct blood pressure readings for Presbyterian members, no appointment needed.
