The Pre-Retirement Seminar can help you prepare for the unknown. Our highly trained staff of Specialists will help every step of the way. Whether it is determining the Early Retirement Date, how to defer sick and vacation balances to avoid paying taxes or health benefits information, our Specialists can help.
The Insurance & Benefits Division of Human Resources Department conducts seminars every other month throughout the City.
Presenters from HR-Insurance & Benefits, Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA), Social Security Administration, New Mexico Retiree Health Care Authority, ICMA-RC, Nationwide and Valic (Deferred Compensation providers) will be available to answer questions.
The next Pre-Retirement Seminar will be held on October 10, 2017, at the Albuquerque Museum, 2000 Mountain Road N.W. – the seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. and last until 12:00 p.m.
